Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 12 October 2026
Smile PDF (the "Service") is provided by Aura microretail technologies PC. ("we", "us"). By accessing or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these Terms and confirm you are contracting with Aura microretail technologies PC.. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Smile PDF offers browser-based PDF tools (merge, split, compress, convert, edit, OCR, AI summary/translation and more). Document processing runs on your device; we do not upload or store your documents. Cloud AI mode sends extracted text once for processing and does not store it.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be of legal age in your country, or have authority to bind the organization you represent. Keep your sign-in credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account and for providing accurate information.
3. Acceptable use
- No unlawful use, fraud, spam or harassment.
- No infringement of intellectual property or processing of documents you have no right to use.
- No interference with security: malware, probing, scraping, reverse engineering or circumventing plan limits.
- No resale or redistribution of the Service.
- For AI tools: no illegal content, deepfakes, hate speech, malware generation or attempts to bypass safety controls. You are responsible for your inputs, for how you use outputs, and for verifying their accuracy. AI outputs may be inaccurate and are not professional (legal, medical, financial) advice.
We may remove or restrict content, refuse outputs or suspend accounts that breach these rules. Rights-holders may report infringement to us; repeated infringement leads to termination.
4. Intellectual property
We retain all rights in the Service, its software, documentation and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within your plan. You keep all rights in your documents and outputs.
5. Plans, payment and subscriptions
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Payment, billing, taxes, renewals, cancellations and refunds are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. The Day Pass gives 24 hours of access; Premium is either one year paid once or a monthly subscription that renews until cancelled, with access retained until the paid period ends. See our Refund Policy.
6. Service level and warranties
The Service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance, and large files depend on your device's capacity. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
7. Liability
We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages (including loss of profits, data or goodwill). Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the Service at any time. Since documents are never stored on our servers, there is no document data to export on termination.
9. General
These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece, and the courts of Greece have jurisdiction, without affecting mandatory consumer rights. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in a merger or acquisition. We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control. We may update these Terms and will post changes on this page.
